Why This Site Exists
Jackson is Madison County's seat, yet its records do not all sit in one courthouse index. The Register of Deeds keeps land instruments, the Assessor maintains owner and parcel data, and each court clerk controls its own case files. Tennessee agencies supply voter self-lookup, vital certificates, licenses, and business filings. The Jackson-Madison County Library adds city directories, newspapers, yearbooks, and funeral records. We organize those official search points and explain their boundaries.
